Senior Software Quality Assurance Specialist

Overview:A key role in our software development process is the Senior Software Quality Assurance Specialist. This position requires a skilled professional to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software testing processes and frameworks, as well as hands-on experience with web applications, mobile apps, and APIs. Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with development teams and reporting issues using JIRA with X-Ray.Key Responsibilities:Develop test strategies and scenarios based on business and technical requirements.Design, execute, and maintain test cases across multiple platforms.Create QA plans, UAT scenarios, and release demos for sprints.Perform various testing types, including SIT, UAT, regression, performance, penetration, and compatibility testing.Track and prioritize issues using JIRA with X-Ray.Collaborate with development teams to investigate and resolve reported issues.Contribute to automation initiatives using Selenium, REST Assured, TestNG, Maven.Validate backend processes with SQL queries and database checks.Required Skills and Qualifications:At least 4 years of software testing experience.Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.Hands-on experience with web applications, mobile apps, and APIs.Working knowledge of SQL for backend data validation.
