DFIR Analyst PositionWe are seeking an experienced DFIR analyst to join our cybersecurity team. As a key member, you will be responsible for threat hunting, handling escalated incidents, and conducting forensic investigations.Our ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. They will take ownership of their work, communicate effectively, and thrive in a dynamic environment.The selected candidate will conduct threat hunting using various techniques to detect hidden threats, investigate escalated security incidents, and perform in-depth forensic analysis. They will analyze Windows OS artifacts, including event logs, registry changes, file system activity, and process execution.They will also perform memory forensics to identify malware, suspicious processes, and evidence of compromise, as well as conduct PCAP analysis to detect malicious network activity.Key responsibilities include working with various logs to identify potential threats and suspicious activities, understanding the attack chain, and identifying tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used by adversaries.Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework is required to map adversary TTPs during investigations. The successful candidate will also analyze ransomware and malware TTPs, including initial access, lateral movement, persistence mechanisms, and data exfiltration techniques.Documentation of findings, regular updates, and collaboration with the team are essential aspects of this role.Only candidates with prior experience in threat hunting or digital forensics will be considered. This is not an internship role; we are looking for an experienced analyst only.
