Job DescriptionOur company is seeking a highly skilled mechanical engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance mechanical systems for residential developments.Responsibilities:Design and specify heating, ventilation, and domestic hot water solutions that maximise energy efficiency, comfort, and safety.Utilise thermal modelling software to evaluate various configurations and refine designs based on simulation outputs and real-world constraints.Collaborate with architects, developers, and contractors to ensure designs are buildable, commercially viable, and aligned with project budgets and timelines.Integrate passive design strategies, renewable heat sources, and advanced control systems to deliver energy-efficient and future-proof solutions.Required Skills & QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will require the following skills and qualifications:A minimum B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related field; a master's degree or chartered status (CIBSE/IMechE) is strongly preferred.5+ years of experience in mechanical services design for residential or mixed-use developments, with a track record of delivering high-performance projects.Deep knowledge of heating and domestic hot water systems, including heat pumps, low-temperature networks, thermal storage, and advanced control strategies.Proficiency in thermal modelling, load calculations, and relevant software (e.g., IES VE, TAS, EnergyPlus, Revit, AutoCAD).BenefitsAs a valued member of our team, you can expect the following benefits:Fully remote work arrangement.An attractive annual compensation package.This opportunity offers a unique chance to make a meaningful impact on sustainable living.
