We are a leading innovator in the crypto payment space, offering secure, fast, and scalable payment solutions for cryptocurrency transactions. Our mission is to bring crypto payments to the mainstream by building trust and usability. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Marketing to drive the company’s marketing strategy and help us expand our reach in the global crypto and fintech market.
Role Overview :
As the Head of Marketing , you will be responsible for leading and executing all marketing strategies ( encompassing: social media management, content creation, data analytics, digital marketing, brand strategy, PR ) to elevate the company’s brand, grow our user base, and position us as a market leader in the cryptocurrency payment space. You will lead the Digital Marketing team and work closely with senior management, product, sales, and business development teams to ensure alignment on messaging and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Leadership :
Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive user acquisition, education, brand awareness, and product adoption in the crypto payment ecosystem.
Work with our internal Head of Digital to co-create lead generation strategies.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and work closely with our internal client coverage team.
Lead and manage an outsourced marketing team, providing them with clear direction and support in achieving our objectives.
Brand Development & Awareness :
Define and enhance the company’s brand positioning, ensuring consistency across all channels and communications.
Develop and manage global PR strategies, working with outsourced experts, influencers, and industry leaders to promote the company and its products.
Digital Marketing & User Acquisition :
Establish thought leadership through content marketing, events, partnerships, and educational campaigns that build trust within the cryptocurrency community.
Oversee all digital marketing efforts, including SEO/SEM, social media marketing, email campaigns, influencer marketing, and paid and organic advertising to drive traffic and conversions.
Create in and out-bound campaigns our internal CRM systems
Work with the Head of Digital to analyse and understand customer data and market insights to create data-driven marketing strategies, improving acquisition and retention metrics.
Content & Product Marketing :
To be able to understand and use AI and any associated tools to create content
Collaborate with the product team to craft compelling product marketing strategies, ensuring clear messaging around features and benefits of the crypto payment platform.
Develop content marketing strategies, including blogs, whitepapers, videos, webinars, and educational content to build awareness and educate potential customers about crypto payments.
Coordinate launch plans for new product features, partnerships, or updates, ensuring marketing campaigns align with product timelines.
Partnerships & Community Engagement :
Build and maintain relationships with key partners in the crypto and fintech industry to increase brand exposure and develop joint marketing initiatives.
Oversee community management efforts, engaging with users, developers, and influencers across social media platforms.
Lead sponsorship opportunities, event marketing, and industry conference participation to increase brand visibility and engage with the crypto community.
Budget & Performance Management :
Manage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources to maximize return on investment (ROI) across different marketing channels.
Set key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing activities, regularly tracking and reporting on campaign performance to the executive team.
Have the ability to quickly understand Data analytics from platforms such as SEO MOZ.
Utilising Google Tools, SEO Moz, etc there would be a need to perform regular A/B testing, data analysis, and performance optimisation to improve marketing ROI.
Key Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in marketing, fintech, blockchain and crypto industries would be an advantage; with at least 3+ years in a senior leadership role
Proven track record of leading successful marketing campaigns, driving user growth, and scaling brand awareness in a fast-paced environment
Hands-on experience with a wide range of digital marketing strategies, including SEO/SEM, PPC, social media, email marketing, influencer marketing, and paid and organic advertising.
Proficiency in analytics tools like Google Analytics, Google Tools, SEO MOZ, or similar, to track performance and optimise campaigns.
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling narratives that resonate with crypto and mainstream audiences.
Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and scaling marketing teams.
Excellent cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to work closely with senior management, finance, product, sales, and client coverage teams.
