Clients range from SMBs, Content Marketing Agencies, and Enterprises across various industries, usually from India, Canada, and USA.
Job Summary:
As a Sales Specialist, you will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth within the technology or IT sector. You will work closely with the founder and sales team to convert leads into business, ensuring a strong pipeline of potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the technology/IT sector through research, networking, and lead generation.
Craft persuasive and personalized cold email campaigns to reach out to potential clients.
Leverage LinkedIn as a powerful networking tool to identify and engage with potential leads.
Monitor job boards, Upwork, and other relevant platforms to identify potential leads.
Engage with prospects through follow-up emails, messages, and phone calls to nurture relationships and convert prospects into qualified sales opportunities.
Conduct thorough research to understand the target audience and refine prospect lists. Evaluate leads based on predefined criteria to ensure high-quality engagements.
Coordinate with the founder to share insights, gather feedback, and align outreach strategies. Collaborate with the design /marketing team to align messaging and optimize outreach efforts.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations.
Conduct presentations, demos, and negotiations to secure new business deals.
Manage the sales pipeline, tracking leads through various stages of the sales process, and ensuring timely follow-ups.
Prepare and deliver proposals, contracts, and reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors to identify opportunities for business growth.
What we look for
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
0-5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the marketing or technology or IT sector.
Proven track record of generating new business and meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Strong understanding of design and web services, and the ability to communicate their value to potential clients.
Familiarity with email outreach tools, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and social media platforms like LinkedIn.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Experience working with CRM systems to manage leads and sales activities.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks and multitasking as needed.
Demonstrated ability to learn pretty much anything quickly
Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
