Job Summary: The Security Head is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive security strategies and programs to safeguard the company’s assets, personnel, and information. This role involves overseeing security operations, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Security Policies: Create and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect the company’s physical and informational assets.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Incident Management: Manage and respond to security incidents and emergencies, including investigations, reporting, and coordination with law enforcement and other authorities.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train security staff, ensuring they are equipped to perform their duties effectively. Oversee the hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations of security personnel.
  • Access Control: Oversee access control systems and procedures to ensure that only authorized personnel have access to sensitive areas.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards, including health and safety regulations.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the security budget, including procurement of security equipment and services.
  • Communication: Serve as the point of contact for security-related matters, communicating with senior management, employees, and external partners.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in security management or a related field, with a proven track record in managing security operations and teams.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of security systems, risk management, and emergency response protocols.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations, make sound decisions, and manage crises effectively.
  • Proficiency in security technology and systems, including surveillance, access control, and alarm systems.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP)) are highly desirable.
