We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our team and play a critical role in communicating our technology solutions effectively to internal teams, partners, and clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Documentation Development: Create comprehensive user guides, installation manuals, API documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles to support our products and services.
  • Technical Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product management, and customer support teams to gather and interpret technical information, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all documentation.
  • Content Management: Maintain and update existing documentation to reflect product enhancements and new features, ensuring consistency and adherence to company standards.
  • Visual Aids Creation: Develop diagrams, charts, and other visual materials to effectively convey complex technical information to a diverse audience.
  • Quality Assurance: Review and edit content developed by other team members to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with established guidelines.


Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably in Telecommunications), Computer Science, MCA, or a related field.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of XML and HTML, with experience in structured writing (e.g., DITA). Familiarity with software development tools and processes, including source control tools like GitHub and SVN, and methodologies such as DDLC and Agile.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of U.S. English, with exceptional research, analysis, and writing abilities. Ability to write clearly and concisely, using correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in standard documentation tools, including Microsoft Office, MadCap Flare, Adobe, Visio, and SnagIt. Experience with various documentation delivery mechanisms (online help, web help, PDFs, HTML, etc.).
  • Technical Interpretation: Ability to interpret technical specifications, user stories, configuration files, code, and other technical documents as reference materials.
  • Learning Ability: Demonstrated capacity to quickly learn new products and technologies, effectively grasping technical material.
  • AI Familiarity: Awareness of AI and its potential implementation in product documentation.


Experience:

  • Professional Experience: 2-5 years of experience in technical writing, preferably within the telecommunications or software development industry.
  • Documentation Experience: Proven experience in developing a comprehensive suite of documentation, including user guides, installation guides, API guides, troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and knowledge bases.
