We are currently seeking a skilled Data Solution Architect for one of our leading enterprise clients in Sydney.

About the Role

As a Data Solution Architect, you will be responsible for architecting end-to-end enterprise-grade data solutions that align with both business goals and technical strategy. You will define data models, integration patterns, and governance frameworks while guiding cross-functional teams in the successful delivery of secure and scalable data platforms.

This is a Work From Office role based in Sydney, on an initial 3-month contract with the possibility of extension.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and aligned data architectures.
  • Define and maintain data integration patterns and governance frameworks.
  • Develop and communicate data strategy and architecture roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and analysts to ensure effective delivery.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to align solutions with business requirements.
  • Guide engineering teams through implementation using best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in architecting enterprise-level data solutions.
  • Proficiency with tools and platforms such as Databricks, Azure Synapse, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Git and Azure DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to balance technical depth with long-term strategic thinking.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
