Job Opportunity:We are seeking a seasoned Indirect Tax professional to spearhead our tax compliance efforts.The successful candidate will possess a strong background in GST regulations and reporting requirements.The key responsibilities of this role include:Filing accurate and timely GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, 9, 9C)Reviewing GST reconciliations and addressing discrepanciesMonitoring Input Tax Credit (ITC) eligibility and utilizationOversight of Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) compliance and related accounting proceduresProviding tax advisory on business transactions and contractsEvaluating implications of GST amendments and notificationsAudit & Assessment Management: handling GST audits and preparing responses to notices and queriesProcess & System Enhancement: streamlining tax processes and automating compliance through SAP systemsIn addition to GST expertise, experience in litigation handling under erstwhile IDT law (excise, VAT) is an asset.
