Job Summary:
The Social Media Executive will be responsible for managing and growing the company’s social media presence across various platforms. This role requires creativity, strong communication skills, and an understanding of current social media trends. You will work closely with the marketing team to develop content, engage with the audience, and help increase brand awareness, loyalty, and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation & Management:
- Develop and curate engaging content (images, videos, text, etc.) for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- Ensure content aligns with brand voice, tone, and objectives.
- Plan, schedule, and manage daily/weekly/monthly social media posts using tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
2. Social Media Strategy:
- Assist in creating and executing social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Monitor and report on social media trends, competitor activity, and industry best practices.
3. Community Engagement:
- Interact with followers, respond to comments and direct messages, and foster an online community.
- Manage online reputation by addressing queries, complaints, and feedback in a timely manner.
4. Analytics & Reporting:
- Monitor social media metrics (engagement rates, reach, impressions, etc.) to assess the success of campaigns and content.
- Prepare regular reports on social media performance and suggest improvements.
5. Collaborations & Campaigns:
- Coordinate with influencers, partners, and other stakeholders for collaborations and campaigns.
- Assist in the creation and management of paid social media advertising campaigns.
6. Market Research:
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
- Conduct market research to understand target audiences and optimize content for engagement.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and social media management tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
- Proficient in content creation tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Basic knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights, etc.).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with paid social media campaigns and Google Ads.
- Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing trends.
- Graphic design or video editing skills are a plus.
