Senior Oracle Data Engineer PositionWe are seeking a seasoned data engineer with hands-on expertise in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and a deep understanding of extract, transform, and load (ETL) and extract, load, and transform (ELT) frameworks.This role involves architecting robust data pipelines across on-premises and cloud-based Oracle ecosystems, automating data ingestion from various sources, including APIs. Proficiency in working with structured and unstructured data from databases, APIs, and cloud platforms is also essential.Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines using ODI.Build and automate data ingestion workflows through Python and shell scripting.Integrate data from diverse sources, including databases, APIs, and cloud platforms.Configure ODI load plans, packages, and interfaces for efficient data processing.Develop and maintain metadata layers, subject areas, and dashboards in Oracle Cloud Applications (OAC).Collaborate with stakeholders to implement self-service analytics via Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and Oracle Cloud tools.Document integration logic and ensure transparency throughout the transformation process.Work with architects and database administrators (DBAs) to implement security, governance, and compliance measures.Hands-on expertise in ODI Studio, Knowledge Modules, and Load Plan architecture.Proficiency in ETL/ELT frameworks, performance tuning, and staging optimization.Advanced scripting skills in Python and Unix shell for workflow automation and validation.Strong knowledge of API data integration, including authentication, filtering, and normalization.Experience with OBIEE and RPD modeling, dashboard development, and analytic views.Familiarity with OTBI and Oracle Fusion modules for transactional data access.
