Manager, HR Support

Job Title – Global HR Support Manager Business Unit: People Team Location - GurugramAbout the roleThe GLG People Team is seeking a highly motivated, service-oriented and collaborative leader to manage our global HR Support Team located in offices across Asia, Europe and the US. The HR Support team owns the administration and delivery of our day-to-day people processes from onboarding to offboarding and plays a key role in our global payroll processes. The team also provides front-line support to employees and managers by fielding incoming requests and questions.As the manager of GLG's HR Support team, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, including tier 1 employee support, transaction management, and service delivery. You will also assume people leader responsibilities including training, performance management and serving as the primary point of escalation for all HR Support matters. from your team to help you develop top-tier project management and communication skills.      Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Manage team workload, resourcing and adherence to SLAsOwn regular audit processes to ensure data integrityMonitor quality and accuracy of service delivery and take corrective action as necessary, providing performance and developmental feedback on a regular basisPartner with leaders and HR colleagues to address any escalations and respond in a timely mannerProvide back-up support to the team as needed during busy periodsWork closely with the payroll team to ensure that monthly/semi-monthly payrolls are processed accurately and that all required documentation has been submittedKeep up to date on regulatory changes and ensure that our processes remain compliant with local lawsCreate and maintain process documentation to ensure smooth and consistent operations across the global People TeamTrain the broader team on new systems, functionality or proceduresWork with the Senior Director, HR Operations to identify operational efficiency improvements by evolving and streamlining our processes and practicesPartner with the HR Technology team to implement systems enhancements that will improve process management and deliveryAs a HR Support Manager, we need you to be :Be detail-oriented and accuracy focused, with a technical, problem-solving mindsetWork effectively in a fast-paced, innovative and open environmentBe flexible and adapt quickly to changesBe hands-on and willing to back-up the team when neededManage your time effectively and take an organized approach to workCollaborate with others and establish effective working relationships across the companyProvide and maintain high standards of customer serviceBe able to think on your feet and use judgment to advise and guide othersBe sensitive to the need for discretion and to maintain confidentialityWorking as part of the People Team at GLG will give you the opportunity to:Play an active role in shaping the future of people operations at GLGBuild relationships with a global team of HR professionalsWork closely with colleagues across functional areas, from Talent Acquisition and Business Partnering, to Operations and Technology.develop your technical proficiency by participating in Workday enhancement and implementation projects.be part of our ongoing journey to implement AI-powered tools and capabilities that drive productivity and value across the teamAn ideal candidate will have the following:Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent experienceMinimum 2-3 years' leadership experience in a HR Support or Shared Services team environmentUnderstanding of employment law and regulatory requirements in the US, UK, India and any of our other GLG location countriesA high level of proficiency in Microsoft OfficeExperience defining and/or refining proceduresExperience using Workday to manage employee lifecycle processes Ability to work independently and collaboratively, in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment
