About the RoleManage daily accounting operations, including general ledger management, journal entries, and reconciliations.Support financial planning, budgeting, and analysis to inform business decisions.Oversee monthly/quarterly/annual book closings, prepare financial statements, and ensure timely Management Information Systems (MIS) reporting.Ensure compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), and other applicable regulations.Process vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and other disbursements in a timely and accurate manner.Cooperate with auditors and tax consultants as necessary for audit support and tax filing purposes.Manage accounts payable/receivable and maintain accurate transaction records.Maintain documentation and adherence to cross-border payment policies and international vendor transactions.Monitor cash flows and coordinate with banks and financial institutions.Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, taxation laws, and regulatory requirements relevant to the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business growth and decision-making.Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.Cash Management: Oversee cash flow management, including managing accounts receivable and payable, and ensuring timely payments.
