Job Description for BIW Fixture Project ManagerWe are seeking an experienced project leader to oversee our BIW design projects from concept to delivery. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in project management and leadership, as well as a strong understanding of BIW process, welding, and joining methods.Lead BIW design projects from concept to 2D delivery and documentation delivery.Coordinate cross-functional teams including design, simulation, process, and system layout.Manage project planning, team project allocation, quality reviews, design reviews, and supplier interactions.Ensure best practices for multiple OEMs' project execution.The ideal candidate will have expertise in CAD tools such as CATIA, NX, Inventor, and Solidworks. They will also have a deep understanding of GD&T, DFMEA, and automotive standards. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are required.Key Responsibilities:• Lead BIW design projects from concept to delivery.• Coordinate cross-functional teams including design, simulation, process, and system layout.• Manage project planning, team project allocation, quality reviews, design reviews, and supplier interactions.• Ensure best practices for multiple OEMs' project execution.• Develop and implement project plans that meet business objectives.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.• Conduct regular progress updates and status reports.Requirements:• 15-20 years of experience in project management and leadership.• Strong understanding of BIW process, welding, and joining methods.• Expertise in CAD tools such as CATIA, NX, Inventor, and Solidworks.• Deep understanding of GD&T, DFMEA, and automotive standards.• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
