The Demi Chef de Partie[ Bakery & Pastry]will assist the Chef de Partie in managing and overseeing a designated section of the kitchen. This role involves preparing and baking to a high standard, ensuring consistency and quality, and contributing to a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and baking as per the restaurants standards and recipes.
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
Monitor and ensure the quality of ingredients and finished dishes.
Support and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Help in the development and planning of menus and special dishes.
Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Handle food inventory and assist in ordering supplies as required.
Address and resolve any issues or concerns that arise during service.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Commis Chef or in a similar role within a high-quality kitchen environment.
Culinary diploma or relevant qualification is preferred.
Strong understanding of baking techniques and kitchen equipment.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
High standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Ability to work well under pressure and in a team setting.
