Housing Compliance Specialist

Job Title: US HUD Audit ProfessionalWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced audit professional with expertise in US GAAP and HUD compliance requirements.This role requires a strong understanding of multifamily housing entities, Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), Affordable Housing Audits, and Low-Income Housing Audits.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience conducting audits, reviewing financial statements, assessing compliance reports, and ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with HUD regulations.We value candidates who can work collaboratively with clients to resolve audit findings and provide recommendations for improvements.Conduct audits in accordance with US GAAP and HUD guidelines.Review and assess financial statements, compliance reports, and supporting documentation.Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with HUD regulations.Perform audits related to Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and other affordable housing programs.Key Qualifications:Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.Minimum 2-6 years of experience in HUD audits or affordable housing audits.Strong knowledge of US GAAP, HUD audit protocols, and LIHTC compliance.Preferred Skills:Familiarity with REAC submissions and HUD REAC protocols.Experience working with nonprofit housing organizations or public housing authorities.Audit Responsibilities:Prepare audit reports and present findings to stakeholders.Collaborate with clients to resolve audit findings and improve processes.About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for an audit professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our clients.
