We’re hiring for one of our esteemed clients seeking a Manager – Steel Analyst to drive strategic pricing, procurement, and market intelligence initiatives.🔍 About the Role:As a Steel Analyst, you will:Monitor, analyze, and forecast pricing trends for raw materials and finished goods.Provide data-backed insights to top management on procurement and pricing strategies.Drive long- and short-term contracting decisions through scientific models and predictive analytics.Lead daily dashboards, cost-benefit analyses, inventory optimization, and strategic reporting.🛠️ What You Bring:Technical Competencies:8–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the steel industry.Strong expertise in raw materials (Iron Ore, Ferro Alloys, Fluxes, etc.) and finished goods (Billets, TMT, etc.).Proficiency in analytical tools, forecasting models, ERP systems, and MS Office.Hands-on exposure to domestic, import, and export markets.Behavioral Competencies:Integrity, accountability, result orientation, and relationship-building.Strong communication skills with multi-lingual ability.Qualifications:Graduate/Postgraduate (preferably in Statistics or related field).Proven experience in data analytics, cost forecasting, and market intelligence.🎯 Key Responsibilities:Monitor market trends vs purchase costForecast pricing and optimize purchase quantityDeliver insightful reports and recommendationsMaintain real-time dashboards and data analyticsContribute to cost reduction and inventory optimization initiatives📩 Ready to Make an Impact?Apply now to join a forward-thinking team with one of our esteemed clients in the steel industry.
