We're Hiring: Manager – Steel Analyst Location: Secunderābād, Telangana (MG Road) 8 to 10 years Employment Type: Full-Time Are you a data-driven professional with a deep understanding of the steel industry and market trends? We’re hiring for one of our esteemed clients seeking a Manager – Steel Analyst to drive strategic pricing, procurement, and market intelligence initiatives. About the Role: As a Steel Analyst, you will: - Monitor, analyze, and forecast pricing trends for raw materials and finished goods. - Provide data-backed insights to top management on procurement and pricing strategies. - Drive long- and short-term contracting decisions through scientific models and predictive analytics. - Lead daily dashboards, cost-benefit analyses, inventory optimization, and strategic reporting. What You Bring: Technical Competencies: - 8–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the steel industry. - Strong expertise in raw materials (Iron Ore, Ferro Alloys, Fluxes, etc.) and finished goods (Billets, TMT, etc.). - Proficiency in analytical tools, forecasting models, ERP systems, and MS Office. - Hands-on exposure to domestic, import, and export markets. Behavioral Competencies: - Integrity, accountability, result orientation, and relationship-building. - Strong communication skills with multi-lingual ability. Qualifications: - Graduate/Postgraduate (preferably in Statistics or related field). - Proven experience in data analytics, cost forecasting, and market intelligence.
