Financial Assistant RoleThe position requires a detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent communication skills to assist in financial analysis, record-keeping, and compliance tasks.About the Position:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial concepts, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.Collect and validate financial records from clients.Prepare accurate financial reports using existing templates.Review and validate financial reports prepared by other team members.Assist in preparing tax credit and grant forms.The selected candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organization while developing their skills and expertise in financial analysis and management.Key Responsibilities:Collecting and validating general ledgers, invoices, payroll journals, contracts, and other accounting and financial records from clients.Preparing accurate cost reports using existing Microsoft Excel automated templates.Reviewing and validating cost reports prepared by other team members to ensure correctness and consistency.Preparing tax credit and grant forms.Reviewing tax credit filings prepared by accountants for accuracy and consistency.Preparing tax credit audit documents as requested by tax authorities.Assisting management with collecting government grant information and creating financial reports using Microsoft Excel.Requirements:Minimum of 2-year work experience in a similar business management position.Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to solicit the right information from clients.Excellent attention to details and the ability to spot inconsistencies and inaccuracies.High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Quick learner – ability to understand the business process planning, implementation, and tracking.Good organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, occasionally with strict deadlines.Outgoing, positive, proactive, and self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently.Benefits:This role offers opportunities for professional growth, development, and advancement.
