JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition: Housekeeping Head (Construction Sites)*Department:* Administration / Facilities Management*Reports to:* Project Director / General Manager*Employment Type:* Full-Time*Location:* Multiple Building Construction SitesJOB SUMMARYThe Housekeeping Head will be responsible for managing and overseeing housekeeping operations across multiple building construction sites. This role requires ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, safety standards, and waste management compliance at all project locations. The ideal candidate will lead a team of housekeeping supervisors and staff, coordinate with site management, and maintain high standards of site maintenance throughout the construction phases.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESTeam ManagementSupervise and manage housekeeping teams across multiple construction sitesRecruit, train, and evaluate housekeeping staff and supervisorsPrepare duty rosters, manage attendance, and ensure adequate staffing at all sitesConduct regular team meetings and training sessions on safety and hygiene protocolsMonitor team performance and provide coaching and disciplinary action when necessarySite OperationsEnsure daily cleaning and maintenance of site offices, cabins, toilets, canteens, and common areasOversee cleaning of construction areas, pathways, and access roadsManage waste segregation, collection, and disposal as per environmental regulationsEnsure proper maintenance of housekeeping equipment and suppliesCoordinate pest control activities across all sitesHealth, Safety & ComplianceImplement and monitor safety and hygiene standards across all sitesEnsure compliance with local municipal regulations and environmental normsMaintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all cleaning chemicalsConduct regular safety audits and inspectionsEnsure workers are equipped with proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)Coordination & PlanningVisit and inspect all construction sites regularly (daily/weekly basis)Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, and contractorsPlan housekeeping requirements based on project phases and manpowerLiaise with vendors for supplies, equipment, and specialized cleaning servicesPrepare site-specific housekeeping plans and schedulesBudget & Inventory ManagementPrepare and manage housekeeping budgets for all sitesTrack and control expenses related to manpower, materials, and equipmentMaintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and PPENegotiate with suppliers and ensure cost-effective procurementMonitor consumption patterns and optimize resource utilizationDocumentation & ReportingMaintain daily housekeeping logs and inspection reportsPrepare monthly performance reports for managementDocument incidents, complaints, and corrective actions takenMaintain records of training, attendance, and staff evaluationsTrack compliance with statutory requirementsQUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTSEducationBachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Facility Management, or related fieldDiploma in Housekeeping Management (preferred)Safety certification (OSHA/NEBOSH) is an advantageExperienceMinimum 5-7 years of experience in housekeeping managementAt least 3 years of experience managing housekeeping at construction sites or industrial facilitiesProven experience managing teams of 20+ staff membersExperience handling multiple locations simultaneouslySkills & Competencies*Technical Skills:*Deep knowledge of housekeeping operations in construction environmentsUnderstanding of waste management and environmental regulationsFamiliarity with construction site safety protocolsKnowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practicesProficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)*Leadership Skills:*Strong team management and people development capabilitiesExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesProblem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines*Communication Skills:*Excellent verbal and written communication in English and local languageAbility to interact effectively with site teams, contractors, and vendorsStrong interpersonal skills and conflict resolution abilities*Other Requirements:*Valid driver's license (preferred for site visits)Willingness to travel between multiple sites dailyFlexibility to work extended hours when requiredPhysical fitness to conduct site inspectionsKEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)Site cleanliness and hygiene standards compliance (100% target)Staff productivity and attendance rates (>95%)Budget adherence and cost controlZero safety incidents related to housekeepingTimely completion of scheduled cleaning (dusty, noisy environments)Outdoor work involving exposure to weather conditionsRequires physical mobility to inspect multiple floors and areasTravel between multiple construction sites within the
