About the Job:Job OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver projects in data engineering and analytics. This role will oversee cross-functional teams to execute data platform, pipeline, and analytics initiatives ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall and be proficient with project management tools like Jira.Responsibilities:Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.Team Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, product, QA, and operations teams to define project requirements and success metrics.Data Platforms: Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks is preferred.Project Execution: Plan, execute, and deliver technical projects on time, within scope, and within budget.Agile Methodologies: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.Progress Tracking: Track project progress using tools like Jira, Confluence, and report status to stakeholders.Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve project blockers and dependencies.Documentation: Ensure all technical documentation is current and aligned with project goals.Communication: Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.Vendor Management: Manage third-party vendors or external contractors when applicable.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is required.Experience: 8+ years of experience in project management within a technical environment is necessary.Methodologies: Strong understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall is required.Tools: Proficient with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project is preferred.Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are essential.Multiproject Management: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment is required.
