Job Role OverviewAs a Mortgage Credit Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of our loan portfolio by meticulously reviewing and analyzing loan files for compliance with regulatory and client guidelines.The ideal candidate will possess an exceptional understanding of US Mortgage Originations, closing procedures, federal and state lending laws, as well as experience in end-to-end underwriting of Conventional loans.Conducting thorough reviews of loan files to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and client overlaysAnalyzing borrower income, employment, credit history, capacity to repay, property appraisal, and title reports to make informed credit decisionsCalculating and verifying loan-to-value (LTV), combined loan-to-value (CLTV), home equity line of credit to value (HCLTV), debt-to-income (DTI), and housing expense-to-income (HTI) ratiosIdentifying red flags and making approval or denial decisions based on creditworthinessAdditionally, you will have experience in full origination mortgage processing, loan setup, loan documentation, closing, title, quality assurance, compliance, underwriting, or assisting with conventional first mortgage loan products.Required Skills and QualificationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesProficiency in mortgage underwriting software and systemsExperience with Conventional loan products and underwriting guidelinesBenefitsWe offer a competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth and professional development.Why Work With Us?Join our team of dedicated professionals who share a passion for delivering exceptional service and driving business success.
