At Arcana, we're building institutional-grade analytics for leading hedge funds and asset managers.As a Forward Deployed Analyst, you'll work closely with portfolio managers, risk managers, analysts, and CIOs to uncover alpha, beta, and idiosyncratic drivers in portfolios.You'll design and validate analytics that solve real-world business problems, turning complex financial data into clear, actionable insights that inform product and investment decisions.Collaborate with our cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions.Analyze portfolios to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to optimize performance.Communicate complex financial concepts to senior stakeholders, ensuring they understand the impact on their investments.What We Expect:Bachelor's or Master's degree from a top-tier institution (IIT, IIM) with a minimum GPA of 8.7/10 (or equivalent).2–4 years of experience in front-office finance (IB, hedge fund, asset management)Top 5% performer - academically in your graduating class and/or professionally among peers.Strong math and stats backgroundDeep investment knowledge; elite analytical, modeling, and communication abilities.Precision, ownership, and comfort operating with senior stakeholders.CFA, FRM, MBA, or coding skills (Python/R) are strong pluses.
