NOTE:
This role is for Food Science and Food Technology Final Year Student & newly graduates ONLY—no chefs, bakers, or unrelated degrees. You’ll be at the core of assisting at creating snacks that people will love while ensuring they meet industry standards. You should have some interest and knowledge in baking. This is perfect for someone who wants to build products that make a difference.
✨ Your Role: Food Product Development Intern ✨
This is not your typical internship. At ProBites, you’ll work as an integral part of our team, contributing just like a full-time member. If you’re ready to turn your food science knowledge into real-world products, here’s what you’ll do:
✅ Recipe Development: Assist, develop and test recipes for healthy snacks (focus on baked, high-protein, low-sugar products 🌾).
âś… Ingredient Research: Research and source functional ingredients that align with health and nutrition goals.
âś… Small-Batch Trials: Conduct trials to perfect product texture, flavor, and consistency.
âś… Compliance and Documentation: Learn and manage food safety regulations, FSSAI compliance, and other documentation required to commercialize a prototype.
âś… Scale-Up: Work on transitioning products from test kitchen to small-scale production.
âś… Market Research: Stay updated on market trends and consumer preferences to suggest ideas for innovation.
âś… Hands-On Contribution: Take ownership of tasks and be ready to solve problems in a fast-paced startup environment.

🎓 Education: Bachelor’s in Food Science, Food Technology
👩‍🍳 Passion for Baking or Product Development: Genuine interest in baked goods, healthy snacks, or FMCG product creation.
🧠Problem Solver: Ability to approach challenges with creativity and critical thinking.
🤝 Team Player: Ready to collaborate, communicate, and contribute ideas that drive product success.
