Job Title: AI/ML Expert for Geometric Analysis and Design for ManufacturabilityWe are seeking an exceptionally talented and entrepreneurial AI/ML Engineer to build our next-generation browser-based platform for geometric analysis and Design for Manufacturability (DFM).This is a high-impact role focused on bringing real-time, industrial-grade analysis directly to the browser, impacting how products are designed, costed, and produced globally.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement ML models for geometric analysis of injection molded plastic parts using Python with TensorFlow or PyTorch.Develop computer vision algorithms for automated feature detection in 3D CAD models.Build predictive models for manufacturing cost estimation, cycle time prediction, and defect analysis.Create real-time inference engines optimized for browser-based deployment using TensorFlow.js/ONNX.js.Design data pipelines for continuous model training and improvement.System Architectures:Architect browser-based AI systems that process large 3D models efficiently.Integrate STEP/STL file processing with AI analysis workflows.Develop WebAssembly modules for high-performance geometry computation.Build scalable model serving infrastructure supporting real-time analysis.Advanced Analytics:Develop DFM analysis algorithms for wall thickness, draft angles, undercuts, and gate placement.Build moldflow simulation capabilities using AI-accelerated CFD techniques.Implement quality prediction models for common injection molding defects.Required Skills and Qualifications:Proficiency in Python programming language, especially with TensorFlow or PyTorch.Experience in developing computer vision algorithms and implementing them in 3D CAD models.Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and their application in design for manufacturability.Ability to work with large 3D models and develop efficient systems for processing them.Knowledge of WebAssembly and its application in geometry computation.Benefits:Opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.Collaborative and dynamic work environment with experienced professionals.Chance to learn and grow with the company's rapid expansion.
