Advanced Manufacturing Specialist RoleThe Advanced Manufacturing Specialist is responsible for delivering programs within set timescales, ensuring timely introduction of new products and existing improvements. This position involves close collaboration with the Cell team to drive manufacturing operations forward.Key ResponsibilitiesComply with program requests in line with new product introductions in each workcell.Maintain a variation of +/- 1% of quoted time in SMT programs according to specifications set monthly.Support modification, optimization, and line balancing requests from MEs and MSs as required.Update all SMT backup information monthly.Implement MES QM system use in manufacturing engineering in accordance with new product introductions set by upper management.Achieve zero discrepancies in defining or adjusting internal systems with new SMT equipment platforms.Provide training to manufacturing engineering technicians on generating programs and visual aids using Valor software.Train Manufacturing Engineers on generating process routes in the MES system.Implement at least one Engineering improvement project.RequirementsThis role requires strong knowledge of logistics operations, financial analysis, and communication skills.
