Debt Investment SpecialistWe are seeking a Debt Investment Specialist to analyze and underwrite new debt investment opportunities across industries and instruments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in financial modeling, credit analysis, and due diligence.Develop and implement robust financial models to assess company performance, cash flows, leverage, and repayment capacity.Conduct thorough financial reviews, covenant analysis, and sector benchmarking to identify potential investment opportunities.Draft clear, data-driven investment memos for the client's investment committee.Monitor macroeconomic indicators and interest rate trends relevant to portfolio performance.Track existing investments and provide regular updates on credit health, performance metrics, and risk exposure.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support deal documentation, legal coordination, and transaction closing processes.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.2–5 years of experience in investment banking, private credit, structured finance, or corporate lending.Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.Strong understanding of credit documentation, cash flow modeling, and debt structuring.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred Experience:Prior experience in private credit, mezzanine, or distressed debt investments.Familiarity with U.S. credit markets, loan agreements, and covenant frameworks.Experience supporting cross-border or emerging market transactions is an asset.
