We are seeking an experienced professional to design, implement and operate our Enterprise AI API platform.Main ResponsibilitiesDesign and build APIs using IBM's API management technologies or equivalent platforms.Create and enforce governance policies for authentication, authorization, rate limits, quotas, versioning and lifecycle management.Manage the API gateway: routing, transformation, orchestration, protocol mediation and traffic control.Establish and maintain a developer portal: publishing APIs, onboarding internal/external consumers, documentation and self-service subscription.Analyze API usage, performance, latency and error metrics; identify usage patterns and production issues.Ensure API security and resilience: secure back-end integrations, payload validation, threat mitigation and high-availability.Familiarity with AWS cloud services like API Gateway, S3 and EKS.Stay updated with API management best practices, emerging protocols and evolving tool capabilities.The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills and experience in API management, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Key QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.Proven experience in designing and implementing APIs.Knowledge of API management tools and technologies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
