Platform Engineering ExpertWe are seeking a seasoned Platform Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and support of our data-driven applications.This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies such as Java, Big Data frameworks, and Kubernetes.About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data processing services using Java and Big Data frameworks.Additionally, they will build and maintain scalable microservices and backend APIs supporting data-driven applications and integrations across systems.They will also deploy, manage, and scale workloads using Kubernetes and containerized environments.In this role, you will work closely with platform and DevOps teams to ensure reliability, automation, and performance.You will implement cloud-native and CI/CD best practices to streamline delivery and operations.Key ResponsibilitiesData Processing Services: Design, develop, and optimize data processing services using Java and Big Data frameworks.Microservices and APIs: Build and maintain scalable microservices and backend APIs supporting data-driven applications and integrations across systems.Deployment and Management: Deploy, manage, and scale workloads using Kubernetes and containerized environments.Collaboration: Work closely with platform and DevOps teams to ensure reliability, automation, and performance.Best Practices: Implement cloud-native and CI/CD best practices to streamline delivery and operations.Required Skills and QualificationsMandatory Skills: Strong expertise in Java and SpringBoot for backend and data-intensive applications. Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Hive, etc.). Practical knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration and scaling.Nice to Have: Familiarity with Kafka or other real-time streaming systems. Knowledge of RDBMS (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.RequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.4+ years of progressive experience as a Software Engineer, Data Engineer, or Platform Engineer.Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, distributed engineering environment.
