System Engineer II Job DescriptionThe role of System Engineer II involves delivering technical solutions to support the organization's goals and objectives. This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Demonstrate advanced technical knowledge in systems engineering and networking.Lead technical discussions with team members and customers to ensure successful project outcomes.Collaborate closely with other engineers and PMO to deliver projects on time and within budget.Develop and manage technical documentation, deliverables, and workbooks.Configure, troubleshoot, and manage enterprise networks.Implement advanced security principles, automation, and programmability within enterprise networks.Plan, design, and lead large-scale projects with multiple technology types and solution sets.Re-configure and configure platforms in a holistic manner.Implement changes and perform change control mechanisms with thorough testing.Lead large projects from start to finish.Manage all aspects of design, preparation, planning, implementation, testing, documentation, and customer sign-off.Collaborate technically with other engineers and PMO during projects to drive trust and satisfaction.All certifications must be approved by the hiring manager.To be eligible for this role, candidates must meet at least one of the following criteria:Hold and agree to maintain (3) or more manufacturer associate level certifications in different technological tracks.Hold and agree to maintain one Professional Level Certification.Demonstrate experience equivalent to (3) TSG approved associate level certifications or (1) approved professional level certification.Candidates must possess certifications such as Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP) or equivalent level manufacturers' certifications.This role offers opportunities to contribute to projects that create significant social impact while providing chances for long-term career growth through professional development opportunities.
