Position: Quality Assurance (QA)
Experience Range: 5-7 years
Role Focus: Creation, testing, and maintenance of lessons for Grades 3-8.
Timings : 12pm to 9pm (Hybrid )
Location : Bellandur , Bangalore.
Top Skills : Javascript , Browser Testing , UI Facing Testing.
Key Skills & Responsibilities:
Core Testing Skills:
60% Manual Testing, 40% Automation Testing
Automation Tools: JavaScript/Java, Selenium (using JavaScript)
Basic SQL: Required
Performance Testing: Basic knowledge required
Browser Testing: Testing across multiple browsers
UI Facing Testing: Ensuring seamless user interface functionality
Accessibility Testing: Heavy focus on accessibility, must be familiar with:
Screen readers (e.g., JAWS, VoiceOver)
Test Planning & Execution:
Writing and maintaining test plans, test scripts, and lesson-specific tests
Coordinating with developers and cross-functional teams
Ownership of automation processes, ensuring lessons are properly automated and tested
Identifying and covering test scenarios, including monitoring errors via console teams
Cross-team Communication:
Knowledge Transfer (KT): Both receiving and giving KTs for cross-functional understanding
Collaborating with the Content Hub, ensuring attention to detail across lessons and test plans
Coordinating with the console team to track and address errors
Other Skills:
Strong communication skills for effective cross-team collaboration
Attention to detail, especially in maintaining lesson quality and catching errors
Writing, updating, and maintaining test lessons for ongoing projects.
