Job TitleWe're seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to lead the development of our cutting-edge AI-native applications.Key Responsibilities:Design and Scale Backend Systems: Build high-performance backend systems using Python (FastAPI), ensuring modular, efficient architecture aligned with product goals.Cloud Deployment and Optimization: Deploy, monitor, and optimize cloud-native applications on AWS or Azure for reliability and scalability.LLM Integration and Collaboration: Work closely with AI and product teams to integrate LLM pipelines into backend services.Leadership and Engineering Culture: Independently lead projects, mentor junior engineers, set code quality standards, and contribute to a fast-paced, high-ownership engineering culture.Must-Have Qualifications:Backend Expertise: 5+ years of experience in Python, with strong proficiency in FastAPI, and solid CS fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, system design, and design patterns.Scalable Systems: Proven ability to design and scale production-grade systems, with a deep understanding of architecture and trade-offs.Cloud Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure, including deployment, CI/CD, observability, and cost optimization.AI & Ownership: Strong ownership mindset with experience delivering end-to-end solutions, including AI-native backends using LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.Agent Frameworks: Experience with agent frameworks like Autogen, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, or AutoChain, along with exposure to vector databases, embedding pipelines, and retrieval-based systems.Background: Background in FinTech or internal tools, with a strong passion for developer experience and infrastructure innovation.Perks & Benefits:Industry-leading compensation packageWork on cutting-edge AI applicationsJoin a remote-first team
