Job Opportunity: Smart IoT Automation & Digital Twin Development Trainer

Location: Remote

Job type: Part-time


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technology Trainer (10+ years) with strong expertise in IoT Automation and Digital Twin Development. This role focuses on training, mentoring, and preparing candidates for real-world IoT roles and interviews, from beginner to lead level. The trainer will design and deliver training programs, create hands-on labs, prepare case studies, conduct mock interviews, and guide candidates through resume building and certification preparation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on IoT project experience, knowledge of IoT protocols & platforms, and a passion for teaching and enabling careers in the IoT & Digital Twin space.


Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct end-to-end training programs (Beginner → Lead level)

• Cover modules: IoT architecture, protocols (MQTT, CoAP, Zigbee, LoRaWAN), IoT platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google IoT), Edge Computing, Digital Twin Modeling & Simulation

• Evaluate & rewrite resumes to align with IoT/Digital Twin industry standards

• Review, rewrite, and structure project stories to highlight IoT & Digital Twin implementations

• Prepare real-world IoT automation case studies, Smart City / Industry 4.0 scenarios & interview questions

• Design situation-based IoT troubleshooting, device management, and twin-simulation questions

• Provide interview readiness docs: Q&A banks, cheat sheets, reference materials

• Conduct mock interviews (Technical + HR style) with feedback

• Mentor candidates on IoT & Digital Twin certifications (AWS IoT, Azure Digital Twin, Industrial IoT)

• Build training material: presentations, labs, coding assignments, hardware integration tasks, assessments

• Ensure candidates articulate answers & project stories confidently

• Continuously update training content with the latest IoT standards, platforms, and digital twin innovations


Requirements:

• Proven hands-on experience in IoT Automation & Digital Twin solutions

• Strong expertise in IoT hardware (MCUs, sensors, actuators), cloud IoT platforms, and digital twin modeling

• Knowledge of protocols (MQTT, CoAP, LoRaWAN, Zigbee), Edge Computing, and IoT Security

• Experience in integrating IoT with AI/ML, AR/VR, and industrial systems

• Prior interviewing, mentoring & training experience

• Ability to rewrite resumes & project stories to match employer expectations

• Excellent communication, facilitation & presentation skills

• Relevant certifications preferred (AWS IoT, Azure IoT Developer, Digital Twin Specialist)
