Job OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled professional to support senior developers in the Analyst Developer job family.This role will provide a launching pad for transition into more senior positions and support delivery obligations to customers and internal stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will analyze and design user stories and acceptance criteria, working within feature/user story constraints to define underlying design.They will ensure solutions meet requirements and work end-to-end, providing recommendations for technical issues.Additionally, they will help design and build APIs and external system interfaces.Technical ExpertiseThe ideal candidate will interpret complex financial business requirements, translating them into high-transactional, high-availability, secure systems.They will lend expertise to advise and influence UI/UX financial tools, considering non-functional requirements for high-volume, real-time transaction processing systems.Collaboration with other developers is essential to ensure solutions are robust and in-line with requirements.Quality AssuranceThe successful candidate must adhere to defined procedures for code management, code reviews, coding standards, naming conventions, and security standards.Automated unit tests will be written for newly created code, and manual testing will be performed to ensure changes made to the system are of a high standard.Code reviews will also be performed for developers on their own and different projects.Team CollaborationThe ideal candidate will promote the development team both internally and externally.They will collaborate with other developers to share knowledge, best practices, useful technology, and opportunities for cross-project system design/solutions.Mentoring new starters is also essential to ensure they understand the platform and SDLC.Training and DevelopmentThe successful candidate will provide solution-wide training on topics of personal expertise.Supporting the project lead developer and functioning as squad lead if required are also key responsibilities.
