Job DescriptionTo excel in this Desktop Support role, you will be responsible for investigating systemic issues affecting user experience and implementing solutions to boost productivity.Collaborating with business partners is crucial to understanding their needs and pain points that hinder productivity.Key Responsibilities:Conduct thorough troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve desktop-related issues efficiently.Leverage your deep knowledge of Desktop Experience (DEX) to enhance user productivity and satisfaction.Develop automation scripts to streamline desktop management tasks.Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support of desktop systems.Provide expert-level support to end-users, addressing their technical concerns and training them on best practices.Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Windows desktop engineering or a related field.Expertise in Windows OS internals, including the kernel, registry, services, drivers, etc.Familiarity with OS-level troubleshooting tools.Experience utilizing Unified Endpoint Management tools for managing domain and Entra Windows devices.A strong background in Desktop Experience (DEX) tools for measuring endpoint performance, correlating issues with changes, and user experience optimization.Knowledge of operating system level logging.Excellent problem-solving skills, focusing on root cause analysis and resolution.Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell for automation.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Benefits:This role offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development.
