Key to our success in achieving sustainability and energy performance goals is the role of an Energy Modeler. This position plays a vital part in developing energy simulations and building performance analysis for green building certifications.The successful candidate will have expertise with recognized building simulation software, such as eQuest, Design Builder, and IES VE. They will also possess a solid understanding of HVAC systems, building envelope design, and energy efficiency principles.Responsibilities include:Developing high-quality building energy simulation modelsPreparing documentation, calculations, and simulation reports for LEED, Estidama, and other green building certificationsReviewing architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings to gather inputs for energy modeling and system analysisConducting baseline and proposed case simulations in accordance with ASHRAE 90.1 standardsAnalyzing simulation results to identify energy-saving measures and optimization opportunitiesSupporting the preparation of energy and water efficiency reports, feasibility studies, and carbon reduction analysesAs an Energy Modeler, you will be instrumental in helping us achieve our mission of promoting sustainable practices and reducing our environmental footprint.
