Electrical Systems EngineerAbout the Role:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented electrical systems engineer to join our team in Lisbon. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys designing and developing high-quality, reliable, and efficient electrical systems for data centers.The ideal candidate will have experience in mission-critical environments, such as data centers, telecom, and hospitals. Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (NEC, IEC, IEEE, NFPA 70E) is essential. Familiarity with Tier classifications and redundancy concepts (N, N+1, 2N) is also desirable.The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems, including power distribution, grounding, lighting, and standby power. They will also create and manage single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, and panel schedules using EPLAN and Revit. Additionally, they will perform power system analysis using ETAP and develop and validate lighting and emergency lighting designs using DIALux.Key Responsibilities include coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems, participating in peer design reviews, ensuring compliance with international standards, preparing detailed design documentation, specifications, and BOQs, supporting commissioning teams and responding to RFIs during construction phases, and staying updated with emerging technologies and best practices in mission-critical power systems.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related fieldProficiency in ETAP, EPLAN, Revit, DIALux, and other relevant softwareStrong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (NEC, IEC, IEEE, NFPA 70E)Familiarity with Tier classifications and redundancy concepts (N, N+1, 2N)Experience in mission-critical environments (data centers, telecom, hospitals)Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skillsAbility to manage multiple projects under tight deadlinesProficiency in English (mandatory); other languages are an advantageWhat We Offer:We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, opportunities for career growth and development, and a competitive compensation package.
