Market Maker Analyst

We are looking for a motivated and analytical Market Maker to join our proprietary trading desk. This role involves supporting senior traders, contributing to liquidity provision, executing trades, and optimizing market-making strategies across various asset classes. It is ideal for candidates who are highly quantitative, disciplined, and passionate about markets. Responsibilities Monitor market conditions, price movements, order flow, and liquidity across assigned products. Execute trades based on defined strategies while adhering to risk limits. Maintain tight bid-ask spreads and manage inventory efficiently. Analyse trading data to identify inefficiencies and improve execution. Work with the tech team to refine trading algorithms, tools, and dashboards. Prepare daily profit and loss, risk and trade reports. . Respond to market events quickly and make data-driven decisions. Ensure compliance with internal policies and exchange regulations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance , Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science. Minimum 2 years of experience in proprietary trading Proven experience as a trader with a successful track record In-depth understanding of volatility trading, market making and risk management In-depth knowledge of financial markets, derivatives, and options trading strategies Exposure to algo trading tools or market simulation environments. Bachelor's degree in Finance , Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science. Basic knowledge of C++/Python Skills Strong understanding of financial markets, derivatives, and microstructure basics. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills. Proficiency in Excel; basic knowledge of Python or other scripting languages is a plus. Ability to work under pressure and make quick, accurate decisions. Strong communication and team collaboration skills. High attention to detail and discipline with risk management.
