API Engineer PositionJob OverviewWe seek a skilled API management professional to design, implement and manage our Enterprise AI platform.Key Responsibilities:Design and build scalable APIs using IBM API Connect and equivalent technologies.Define governance policies for authentication, authorization, rate limiting, quotas, versioning and lifecycle management.Manage the API gateway for routing, transformation, orchestration, protocol mediation and traffic control.Set up and maintain the developer portal for publishing APIs, onboarding consumers and documentation.Monitor performance metrics, analyze usage patterns and address production issues.Ensure API security and resilience through secure integrations, payload validation and threat mitigation.Stay current with emerging protocols and evolving IBM tool capabilities.Required Skills:Experience with AWS cloud services like API Gateway, S3 and EKS.Knowledge of API security best practices and threat mitigation strategies.Ability to collaborate with architecture, development, security and DevOps teams.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
