Quality Assurance Lead PositionWe are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance professional to lead our automation, performance, and data integrity initiatives.As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will be responsible for establishing a scalable automation framework that is resilient to UI changes and supports continuous releases.Key outcomes of this role include:Establishing a robust automation frameworkBuilding a data integrity testing systemImplementing performance and load testing as part of the regular release cycleCreating visibility into quality metrics through dashboards and quality KPIsStrengthening the QA team's technical capabilitiesRequired Skills and Qualifications7–10 years in QA for SaaS products, ideally B2B or multi-tenant systemsProven experience in Ruby on Rails or similar backend-heavy environmentsDeep experience in automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, or similar)Solid understanding of AWS, Postgres, and CI/CD pipelinesExperience setting up performance and load testing frameworks (e.g., JMeter, k6)Prior experience scaling from startup to growth stage ($5M–$50M ARR) preferredExcellent communication skills – able to collaborate with product and engineering to balance quality with speedKey ResponsibilitiesLead QA engineering and own product quality across releasesBuild and scale test automation systems across web, API, and performanceDesign and maintain test data generation systems for realistic customer simulationPartner with Engineering to embed quality gates into CI/CDDefine and measure key quality KPIs (defect leakage, automation coverage, test pass rate, etc.)Conduct performance, scalability, and load testing for core workflowsWork with Security/DevOps to validate data access, customer isolation, and SOC2 compliance controlsMentor QA engineers and drive a culture of proactive quality ownershipPersonality FitHands-on builder who thrives in ambiguitySystem thinker – always looking for repeatable ways to eliminate errorsPrefers dashboards over SOPs; values speed and simplicityConfident enough to challenge developers and advocate for qualityHungry to grow into a Head of Quality role in 12–18 months
