Additionally, they will possess hands-on experience in system design, architecture, and cloud-native development.About The OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth FinTech business and be part of a dynamic team driving innovation and change.You will play a key role in shaping the company's engineering strategy, ensuring scalable and secure solutions for consumer-facing platforms.Key Responsibilities:Lead the development and implementation of the engineering roadmap, aligning it with the company's overall vision and goals.Build and scale high-performing engineering teams, focusing on recruitment, onboarding, and mentorship to ensure long-term success and retention.Oversight of system architecture and design, guaranteeing scalable, secure, and efficient solutions for consumer-facing platforms.Establish and manage the engineering development process, promoting modern practices in coding, testing, and deployment.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, and Business) to deliver impactful solutions that drive business growth.Drive cloud-native development, ensuring platform reliability, high performance, and scalability to meet rapid growth needs.Preferred Experience:8+ years in software engineering, with at least 2+ years in an engineering management role (preferably remote teams).Proven startup experience: ability to thrive in 0–1 and high-growth environments.Hands-on experience in recruiting engineers, building onboarding programs, and creating successful teams.Background in marketplace businesses or insurance technology is highly desirable.Expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and modern cloud architectures.Tech Stack:Languages: NodeJS, Java, PythonInfrastructure: Kafka, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, AWSCloud-native architectures and distributed systems
