Cloud Engineer IIJob OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer II to spearhead the development and implementation of robust cloud platforms.24/7 Platform Operations: Ensure the platform is running 24/7 and respond to incidents as needed.Platform Design and Build: Design and build all aspects of a cloud platform, e.g., tooling, CI/CD, Security, Observability.Technical Leadership: Lead the technical decision-making on configuration management, version control, build/deployment management, and automation.Automation and Efficiency: Automate several tasks and increase team and operational efficiency.CID and Associated Tools: Support CI/CD and associated tools in pipelines for development and production environments.Automation Scripts: Creation, execution, and maintenance of automation scripts to assist in CI/CD pipelines.Engineering Knowledge Sharing: Share engineering knowledge through presentation, blogs, videos with the broader engineering community.Collaboration and Road Mapping: Collaborate with product owners and teams to create relevant engineering road maps to increase adoption.Research and Development: Research new technology and alternative solutions to find the best solutions to problems.Monitoring Solutions: Work with observability tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, or similar to build enterprise monitoring solutions.Programming Languages: Application development background required. Scripting for automation (Python, Golang, TypeScript, etc.) .NET tech stack experience.DevOps/SRE Skills: CI/CD pipelines and tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins) Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation, Ansible) Configuration management and version control Automation scripts and workflows GitOps practices Monitoring and observability implementation.Cloud Platform Skills: AWS/Azure/GCP hands-on experience Cloud-native architecture design IAM, networking, storage, serverless services Multi-account management Security and compliance 24/7 platform operations and incident response.
