As a member of Intellectual Property, the Senior IP Specialist will be responsible for handling IP search & analytics, administrative support tasks, & paralegal services.


The Role

  • Sr. IP Specialist is expected to handle various IP support tasks (such as, Patent search & analytics, data handling and reporting, documenting process notes and preparing business /IP data presentations, digitization & KPI metrics reporting, developing macros etc.), as required based on-demand/, under various IP workflows.
  • Sr. IP Specialist is expected to provide PMO support to India IP function leader on various day to day activities and driving key team activities (e.g., organizing IP events, team events, trainings, workshops, etc. for engagement and any required administrative support) by devising creative ideas and driving them into execution by figuring out the required support, resources, and plan.
  • Sr. IP Specialist is expected to undergo training and demonstrate extreme sense of ownership in developing required competency and triaging multiple requests at speed, to support business requirements.


Qualifications/Requirements:


  • Graduate in engineering, management, or legal domain with strong academic credentials
  • 4-8 yrs. of prior experience in legal/KPO or relevant business domain.Basic understanding of IP/Patent law
  • Personal leadership with ability and flexibility to switch amongst handling different business function requirements in demanding situations (must requirement for this role)
  • Clear & thoughtful communication with ability to drive effective and actionable conversations with functional leader and execute required task within the timelines. (must requirement for this role)
  • Strong articulation & presentation skills | Expertise in working with MS-Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
