KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain close liaison and assist Central Finance function to assist drive process improvements in the payable process.
Ensure adherence to stipulated SLAs/TATs for P2P processes, strengthen vendor invoice validation processes in line with SOPs and defined procedures, and ensure timely vendor/employee payouts.
Provide proactive support to the respective Country Finance teams on the AP process.
Ensure timely completion and review of period-end book closures and support the Group Financial Reporting team to ensure on-time reporting for assigned GLs. Assist in ensuring a smooth month-end/quarter-end/year-end closure process, driving financial hygiene and cleanup processes, and ensuring timely delivery of Bank reconciliations, P&L and balance sheet schedules.
Manage periodic monthly/quarterly/year-end inter company reconciliation activities and ensure on-time submission of MIS/reports.
Be a strong team player capable of handling increased transaction loads with a positive attitude. Manage cross-functional relationships and provide proactive support and resolutions to business and stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with the Central Finance team to support smooth internal and statutory audit closures and provide timely data support and query resolutions.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Qualification:
Bachelor Degree in Commerce / BBA, plus MBA /CMA/ Chartered Accountant or Equivalent qualification.
Experience:
Minimum 5-6 years of work experience in a centralized working environment, specializing in handling Accounts Payable (P2P), Accounts Receivable (OTC), GL bookkeeping, compliance, and audit handling.
Preferably, candidates should have a background in eCommerce or retail, coupled with strong commercial acumen.
Sound Knowledge of general accounting and GL Reporting /Compliance
Systems tool Work Experience:
Work experience in Oracle /Other ERP/ MS Dynamic , Strong in MS excel, knowledge of SQL big query will be add on advantage
Language Proficiency:
English/ Arabic (would be an advantage). Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
