Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Research and Instructional Designer (INTERN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, excellent research skills, and a passion for creating engaging and effective learning materials. This role involves conducting in-depth research on emerging technologies, developing comprehensive tutorial documents, crafting practical use cases, and providing innovative problem-solving solutions to IT students.
Responsibilities:
Research:
Conduct thorough research on the latest IT trends, technologies, and industry best practices.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and their potential applications.
Analyse complex technical concepts and break them down into easily understandable components.
Tutorial Development:
Create clear, concise, and well-structured tutorial documents covering a wide range of IT topics.
Develop step-by-step guides, how-to articles, and reference materials.
Design and implement effective learning strategies, including visual aids, interactive exercises, and real-world examples.
Use Case Development:
Develop practical use cases that demonstrate the application of IT concepts in real-world scenarios.
Create realistic problem-solving scenarios that challenge students to apply their knowledge and skills.
Provide detailed solutions and explanations for each use case.
Problem-Solving:
Identify common IT challenges faced by students and develop effective problem-solving strategies.
Create troubleshooting guides and FAQs to help students resolve issues independently.
Provide timely and accurate support to students through various channels (e.g., email, forums, online chat).
Collaboration:
Collaborate with faculty, students, and other team members to ensure alignment with curriculum goals and learning objectives.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on instructional design and content development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of various IT concepts, including networking, programming, cybersecurity, and database management.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in authoring tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat) and learning management systems (e.g., Canvas).
- Experience in instructional design and development is preferred.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
