MES Consultant Job OpportunityAt a leading enterprise, we are seeking experienced professionals to fill the role of MES Consultants with expertise in Siemens Opcenter Discrete. Our ideal candidate will collaborate closely with technical leads to define project tasks and estimate task duration.Provide regular updates to technical leads on task progression.Work independently and demonstrate capability to understand and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to software development, conflict resolution, and engineering tasks.Apply industry best practices and support initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.Knowledgeable of testing/validation processes, including creating validation tests (Test Specification/Validation Specification document). Execute unit tests, regression tests, integration tests, and functional tests.Develop and deliver training programs for end-users on MES solutions and drive solution adoption.The key qualifications for MES Consultants include:8+ years of experience in Siemens Opcenter Discrete.Proficiency in integrating MES systems with third-party automation systems.Programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, C++, VBA/VBScript, and Python.Experience with Mendix programming.Understanding of software release management.Previous Application Management Services (AMS) Support experience.Ability to work effectively in a 24x7 support environment.Strong communication and adaptability skills are essential for success in this role.Key areas of responsibility include:Collaboration with technical teams to implement MES solutions.Development and maintenance of MES interfaces.Creation and execution of test cases.Documentation of system configurations.With a strong focus on delivering high-quality results, our team is looking for motivated professionals who can bring their expertise to the table and contribute to our mission.Note: The above description is a reformatted version of the original job posting.
