Cybersecurity Operations Excellence Manager

Job OverviewThe Security Operations Delivery Manager role is a pivotal position within an organization, overseeing the execution of cybersecurity operations with precision and dedication. Key responsibilities include ensuring seamless delivery of security services, driving performance through data insights and stakeholder engagement, and fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients.Lead day-to-day cybersecurity operations across multiple technology domains to guarantee smooth service delivery.Ensure consistent adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), contractual deliverables, and service quality targets.Collaborate with technology leads and factory model teams across various security domains, including SOC/SIEM, Email Security, IAM, Cloud, and Network Security.Manage specialized tools and platforms such as Azure Sentinel, Flare, Cybel Angel, Qualys, Anomali, and MDO.Conduct daily stand-ups to maintain operational control, visibility, and alignment.Drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort by promoting automation and service improvement.Act as a trusted advisor to customer leadership, providing expert recommendations based on best practices and operational insights.Monitor and manage incidents, problems, and change requests within defined scope and timelines.Analyze operational metrics and KPIs, translating data into actionable insights for stakeholders and clients.Ensure timely and accurate reporting aligned with contractual terms and governance standards.Handle escalations effectively, support scope changes, and ensure compliance with audit and governance frameworks.Oversee team availability, shift rosters, and performance dashboards, guiding delivery teams to align with customer expectations.RequirementsMinimum 12 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or delivery role.Strong understanding of cybersecurity operations and service delivery principles.Ability to interpret operational data and drive performance through effective storytelling.Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, ITIL, PMP.Excellent gravitas and influencing skills to engage internal stakeholders and clients.Broad knowledge across cybersecurity domains; deep technical expertise not required.Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
