Job SummaryA Data Architect with expertise in cloud and big data technologies is sought to lead the design of scalable architecture schema objects and operationalize solutions for monitoring, alerting, logging etc.Key Responsibilities:Thought Leadership – Develop and share knowledge and best practices in AWS, Cloud and Big Data domain.Solutions and Sales Support – Provide pre-sales support including conducting workshops, developing point of views/solutions/scoping, writing proposals, and supporting sales and marketing enablement for AWS, Cloud and Big Data related technologies.Consulting for Clients – Offer advisory consulting to clients, support delivery hand-offs, address unmet needs, and manage client expectations for their AWS, Cloud and Big Data technologies.Share Expertise – Develop and share expertise in AWS, Cloud and Big Data technologies and actively mine experience and expertise in the organization for sharing across teams and clients.Talent Development – Support recruitment, coaching and mentoring, and building practice capacity in the firm in AWS, Cloud and Big Data technologies.Required Skills and QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing cloud architecture schema objects and operationalizing solutions around monitoring, alerting, logging etc. They should possess in-depth knowledge of key AWS services for data integration, BI and processing services including but not limited to AWS EMR, AWS Data Pipeline, AWS Glue, AWS CloudSearch, Athena, AWS Lambda and AWS Kinesis. The candidate should also be familiar with Big Data ecosystem such as Hadoop / Hive, HDFS, Spark, YARN and others.
