The individual will operate in all phases and contribute to all activities of the software development process. Candidates must be willing to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking, team environment.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assignedDemonstrate ownership of software feature/module and drive development of the feature/module through SDLC.Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, mentoring, and software engineering best practices to junior software engineers.Design, Develop and test Software high integrity software for medical devices. Learn and understand software standards for Medical devices, ex. IEC62304.Define and implement software requirements and designs and review software developed by other team members.Contributes and applies advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts to solve complex technical problems.Participate in process improvement initiatives for the software team. This includes recognizing areas for improvement as well as working with others to develop and document process improvements.Develop reusable patterns and encourage innovation that will increase team velocity.Maintain, improve and design new software tools.Work under general direction and collaboratively with internal and external partners.Required Knowledge and ExperienceRequired: Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Sciences, Bio-Technology, Bio-Medical, Electronics or Electrical Engineering from a premium institute.Preferred: - Masters in Engineering or Masters in Technology Computer Sciences, Bio-Technology, Bio-Medical, Electronics or Electrical Engineering from a premium institute12+ years of relevant work experience including Full stack development roleExpert in creating and/or consuming RESTful web services.Expert in Design and developing microservicesExpert in IoT/IIoT and standard Industry offering around the same.Proficiency in following technologies: C#, .NET, Angular, Java Script, HTMLExperience in one or more of the following operating systems: Windows, LinuxProficient in .NET CoreExpert in using Agile methodologyHighly Knowledgeable in Test Driven Development methodologies.Experience in Design patterns such as MVP, MVVM, Clean architectureExperience building secure softwarePhysical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position. Benefits & CompensationMedtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits PackageA commitment to our employees lives at the core of our values.
