Financial Systems Consultant Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Financial Systems Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and supporting financial process optimization, system configuration, and end-user enablement.About the Role:Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze finance process requirementsConfigure and maintain Oracle Financial modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), Credit Management, and Tax modulesMap business processes for P2P, O2C, and R2R cycles to Oracle functionalitiesDevelop functional specification documents and lead data conversions, mappings, and testingConduct system testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues; manage Oracle SRs for defect resolutionProvide end-user training and create process documentationSupport month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activitiesDevelop and execute test plans to ensure quality deliverablesDecent understanding of Revenue Accounting principles ASC 606 and ASC 842Perform impact analysis for new releases, patches, and enhancementsParticipate in project planning including estimations, timelines, and deliverables trackingEnsure SOX compliance and other regulatory standards in system setupRequirements:7+ years of experience as an Oracle Functional Finance Consultant (Fusion or EBS)Strong knowledge of accounting principles (US GAAP / IFRS)Hands-on experience configuring GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Credit Management, and Tax modulesExperience with financial reporting tools (FRS, OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View)Understanding of financial integrations with third-party systemsExcellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skillsTeam Player working with all internal and external stakeholders including vendor partnersBonus Requirements:Oracle Financials Cloud CertificationExperience working for Leasing, Retail, and related IndustriesExposure to Revenue Recognition principles, integrations with 3rd parties, and related reconciliationsCPA, CMA, or ACCA certificationKey Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:To collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving financial processesTo develop and implement effective solutions to meet the needs of the businessTo work closely with the technical team to ensure seamless integration with existing systemsTo conduct thorough testing and ensure that all deliverables meet the required quality standardsTo provide high-quality support to end-users and troubleshoot any issues that ariseWhat We Offer:We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, along with opportunities for career growth and professional development.
